Tapping out doesn't mean you suck

FAQ

1. Is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) safe?

Yes it is. At BJJ Sin, we emphasize on safety. We always encourage everyone to train at their own pace. If you feel that you’re not prepared to grapple for the first time, approach any of the blue belt for guidance. They will be more than happy to offer you their help.

2. I don’t know if I’m suitable for BJJ. What do you think?

We have people from all walks of life. We have Eurasians, Americans and Asians training at our school. Apart from that, we have someone as young as 17 years old and as mature as 45 years old. Everyone is suitable for BJJ; no matter how young, old, weak, big, plump, small, everyone is welcome!

3. What do I need to wear?

As a starter, you will only need a comfortable set of training t-shirt and shorts! Once you proceed further, you might want to consider mouth guards and other essential gears.

4. I will be visiting Singapore some time in the future, is it possible if I attend your classes while I’m there?

We would love to have you guys come over and exchange some techniques with us, and probably go for a short roll afterwards. That being said, please do give our coach a heads up through email: wmbjjsin@hotmail.com
