By attending the trial class, it will help you to decide which school you’re suitable with in Singapore.
If you’re still unsure, go for all the trial classes from each school and then make your decision based on these few factors:

1) Level of instruction provided by the coach (Do you understand the technique? Furthermore, can you implement it?)
2) General behaviour of the academy (Are they friendly or overly competitive ? Are they helpful or selfish?)
3) Location (Is it accessible by public transport? eg. MRT or bus)
4) Facilities (Training space, mats, and shower facilities)

Training fees should never become one of the deciding factor, because no amount of money will be able to offset the time you spent training in the school itself. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Schools charges AT LEAST $100 per month all over around the world. This is the market rate, which will give you a better insight on how much BJJ school charges. The right way to choose a school is to see whether the environment allows you to improve in a comfortable level at your own pace.
